Before starting Fit Mama, exercising and staying fit were two things I wished I could do but I felt uncomfortable with who I was and how I looked. Going to a gym just didn’t appeal to me as a) it was expensive and b) I didn’t want to be surrounded by people who were super fit and me looking the way I did trying to workout in front of them. I was inspired to join Fit Mama by my sister’n’law who talked about these classes, how much fun they were and that Rosie was a great trainer and motivator who designed her workouts to suit every kind of mama.

I have now been at Fit Mama for about three years and I really love coming to class. Not only am I getting a great workout each time I go, but I have met some really lovely inspiring mamas who are great to work out with. Rosie and the Fit Mama team design really great workouts, are really supportive, and keep me wanting to come back. Over the last three years I have not only changed my mindset about exercise in general but have gone from having a huge dislike for running, to entering in running events due to feeling so good about who I am now and feeling so much more confident in my ability to challenge myself and take on exciting new exercising adventures.

Fit mama has so many options for making exercise fun and doable (no excuses), for example monthly challenges you can do at home even on busy days, different class options including night ones for working mum’s as well as an environment where children are able to come along and be a part of it all. Since starting I have not only changed my attitude and mentality towards exercise but also my physical appearance. I now have a 6 at the beginning of my weight which I haven’t seen since High school, my body and shape has become more toned and I actually feel good looking in the mirror. I owe all of this to Rosie and the Fit Mama team, amazing ladies who inspire amazing ladies to feel super amazing. 5 plus stars all the way.
